I'm sure Widow of Gettysburg will always hold a special place in my heart because of my personal visits to the town, the battlefields, and that particular building, the Lutheran seminary--now Seminary Ridge Museum. Thanks again for all your help with getting my firearms facts straight in Yankee!

I agree with Wes. I absolutely loved "Widow of Gettysburg"! Maybe that's because Gettysburg always inspires in me a sense of the entire war and its effects. It never occurred to me that the civilians paid a high price in this war and that the illegitimate children of slaveholders suffered from both sides. Can't wait for this book!!!
